We must be realistic about the outcome, asking ourselves how much time and effort have I put into my business. Am I relying on my friends and family to support my endeavor?
My perspective on that point is this. Friends and family are more than likely the last to really be a a jumping off point to start your business and relying on repeat business from them.
This s my personal experience and working the business for several years. Hearing this from many of fellow members of this wonderful adventure. The story is more or less the same.
This is not to discourage you on becoming one of the special opportunities that direct sales have to offer. Just sharing a viewpoint that many I know have experienced. We, in the business must look at it in a different light that brick and mortar store. They offer what they have for you to decide if you want to purchase from them or not.
Direct Sales is different. They are striving to offer the best quality available to their customers, offering guarantees to there products. We are seeing less and less of this in the brick and mortar stores.
We must educate or potential customers the benefits of purchasing from a Direct Sales Entrepreneur, not persuade them to purchase from us. WE offer personal service, quality merchandise the list goes on. Best of all you as a customer are helping a family add additional income to their family.
We may not have what everyone is looking for. We may not be able to give them instant gratification. They may have to wait for there product to get to them.
We must weed out and ignore the negatives we receive. Believe in whatever product/products we are sharing, giving our all to the business with in the time constraints of family responsibilities. That is ultimately one of the best attributes this business has to offer. The freedom to schedule your own business hours.
