November 30th is Support Small Business Day

We are in the beginning for holiday shopping. Some of us have already begun to tackle the process of shopping for gifts for Christmas. The call to action has begun. November 30th is the highlight nationwide supporting our local businesses.
Who are our small businesses? Immediately we know think of our brick and  mortar shops. But do you realize that we have local businesses that are on-line?  Do we think of our Direct Sales businesses? How about our local artists? Let's not forget our services as in Spas, Hair and Nail Salons, etc. The list goes on.

Their businesses must be considered as well. They spend there shopping dollars locally and support the community and feed their families. These businesses need to be our focus as well.
Oh I know we live in an gotta have it in my hands right now society. I have personally fallen prey to this way of thinking as well.
Our local small businesses be it the brick and mortar, online, or direct sales value you as customers even more than the big box stores. They know the value in customer satisfaction, service and quality.
My pledge is to dedicate the majority of my purchases in support of the these businesses. I may have to wait, "Patience is a Virtue" but I know I will be happy in the end.
It's still early so you do have the time. And even if you do need a last minute gift or two. I am confident that any of these businesses will be able to supply you with what you need.
Locally we have some fabulous boutiques, incredibly talented artists in all genres, as well as a large variety of products from our direct sales entrepreneurs.
So as we get into the shopping season please take a moment to consider all of them. The choices are bountiful. All that is needed is to change your shopping habits. Make it part of your lifestyle (not only during the holidays but all year long).
